The owner is involved up to the sale, crew came as scheduled, did a great job, cleaned up when done 100%. I recommend LOR because they worked well with insurance company, were.informative with no bs, did job on time, and were all pleasant to deal with. I called many roofers to get estimates on my mother's roof. Left many messages to other roofers, which never called me back. Then I called Lake Orion Roofing. Stacy answered the phone and asked a few questions. Next thing I know, I received a quote which was very competitive. I had a few question so Mark (the owner) called me back. Mark was very patient with me and the upgrades I thought were needed (which would have cost a lot more) were in fact not a need. Mark kept me on my budget with high quality materials and workmanship. The crew cleaned everything up so if you didn't notice the new roof you wouldn't have thought they were even there. Thanks again for a great job

Replacing one's roof is a big decision and should be made in consideration of the most accurate data available, so here are my data for your consideration: 1.) Of the five (5) company representatives, who I invited to come and quote, four (4) gave me on-site quotes at the times of their evaluations and each immediately offered a discount for cash, when I stated my intention to pay cash; 2.) Only one (1) asked for time to thoroughly evaluate my situation and we made a time the next week, during which he promised to go over ALL of the details associated with my job; 3.) The President of the company and I met at the appointed time and he honored ALL of his commitments made to me (i.e. as a retired, mechanical engineer, who performed roofing jobs himself, in his youth); 4.) His cash price was better that all of the other competitors (i.e. even though I did NOT disclose the prices quoted by any of the competitors) and we agreed on the contract; 5.) The workers, materials, workmanship, disposal of spent materials and timing of the project, upon completion, were not only good, but SUPERIOR to even my high expectations! The name of the company involved in the final project is: Lake Orion Roofing and I am NOT being paid for this endorsement! It is SO gratifying to find a company with that much integrity in today's environment!! If you want a superior job, with materials of your choice and an uncompromised roofing job, this is my recommendation and I will even authorize Lake Orion Roofing to publish pictures of the work they performed. Mark and Brian patiently discussed my options (more than once). The job was done in exactly the time frame promised. Little adjustments were promptly and accurately take care of. This was a large but non-stressful purchase. The price was very competitive. Lake Orion Roofing did a beautiful job and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a new roof.

Lake Orion Roofing replaced my roof ten years ago and it still looks brand new today. Mark Southern, President, has proven to be extremely knowledgeable on all types of roofing surfaces, materials and installation techniques. His experience was invaluable during the entire process, from full roof tear-off to complete installation of architectural shingles that make the house really stand out. I was very pleased with their work. The team was quick and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. We did have a small leak in the valley and the owner came out and quickly repaired it. The issue that caused the leak was actually caused by a different company who was installing the gutters, but Lake Orion Roofing still did the repair and did not charge me anything. He was already on the roof, so figured he was just repair it. Pleasant to find a company this reliable.

I called Lake Orion Roofing and they responded with a prompt appointment to review my roof for a water leak. No pressure sale for a repair new roof, even though a replacement may be needed within a couple years. Did a thorough inspection of the roof and sealed a couple areas that may pose a problem in the future. When the time comes for a complete replacement, Lake Orion Roofing will be my first call!!

Lake Orion replaced my roof about 8 years and I have never had a problem with it. Recently with all the rain this summer one of my skylights had a small leak. I called LOR, left a message, and they promptly returned my call that morning. Although I thought I may need new skylights, Brian at LOR was very honest with me and told me they just needed to be calked again. They have always been prompt, on time, and professional!

I want everyone that is looking and researching for a new roof to know about my recent experience with Lake Orion Roofing. I recently contacted L.O. Roofing to ask if there was anything that could be done regarding a leak in my roof. L.O. Roofing replaced my roof in 2004 and I wasn’t sure what their response was going to be 20 years later. Brian and LOR went out of their way to work with me on some issues unrelated to their workspace. LOR replaced our roof about 10 yrs ago, we have been very happy with it ever since. Recently had some attic bat issues, bat company recommended installing ridge vent guards for $$$. Brian came out for a consult and offered to check on ridge vents to avoid me paying for unnecessary work. He had some very good suggestions which I will be following as I resolve the bat problems with the other company.

I thought it was rather odd that Mark had me come into the office to review his estimate. Turned out to be very helpful and informative. He showed me the difference in products, and what would be best for my application, as to price and product.The crew was outstanding. With the recent high winds, I found a section of shingles had fallen into my yard and I called Lake Orion roofing. Mark went on the roof to do the repair and found out the shingles were actually from a neighbor's house not mine! Excellent service from Lake Orion roofing once again!

We contracted Lake Orion Roofing to do a roof tear off and re-shingle. Communication with the project manager was not the best and we had some issues along the way, but Lake Orion Roofing resolved them to our satisfaction. In fact, we had some metal flashing between the roof and the siding where the paint was peeling off. Even though it was not part of the contract, Lake Orion Roofing re-covered the flashing at no charge. We are pleased with the final result.

I contacted Mark Southern for an estimate on my Dad's house because there was a Roof Leak. Brian came out and did a very thorough evaluation. Mark & Brian were both Absolutely Fabulous. With the recent high winds blowing the shingles off of our roof, I contacted lake Orion roofing company who had originally installed the roof about 10 years ago. During the recent wind-storm, I lost a single shingle. I contacted Mark at Lake Orion Roofing and explained the issue (it was a very minor repair issue, especially for a roofing company). However, Mark had Brian come out the following morning and discovered where the missing shingle was torn off at, (the peak), and replaced it with a new shingle.I am so impressed with LO roofing's immediate response to my service request, given how small of a repair it turned out to be. Lake Orion Roofing just finished my roof in Shelby Twp and I am very pleased. I contacted several companies for quotes and their presentation was very professional and competitive. They informed me in advance when they would deliver the shingles and dumpster for my tear off. Our roof was damaged in the hail storm during July 20th 2023, after searching and talking with several companies, I was referred to Lake Orion Roofing.From the first time I reached out, I have had nothing but good things to say. Our contractor, Mark, was amazing and even took the time to help us deal with the insurance company to get what was owed for our damaged house.Once the insurance had been thoroughly reality checked by my fiancé and Mark, the work on the roof was completed very quickly.A few days ahead of time some materials and a dumpster were dropped off in preparation, and the actual work on the roof was done in the time it took me to go to and come home from work.The gutters were a different team but was completed separately in one day by them. When we had some minor issues with the gutters, Brian came out to do his final inspection and take care of those minor issues.Every person we interacted with was amazingly friendly and kind, I could not recommend them highly enough.

Lake Orion Roofing recently did a complete replacement on our roof.To start the process, Brian came out and showed us the problems we had going on and explained our options. He was very understanding when I said we were going to try to repair the roof. After further assessing my options, I decided to do the full replacement and ended up choosing Lake Orion Roofing after sitting down with Mark and hearing about their process and comparing with other companies in the area. The job was completed within 2 weeks of signing and at a very high level for a reasonable and transparent cost. We’ve had 6 inches of snow, and lots of rain and I’ve been in the attic and have not seen any leaks.Overall, I’ve been very impressed and I know that if any issues come up in the future they will take care of them. They’re a good, honest company. I’m glad I gave them my business.

I found a water spot on my ceiling on a Friday, and called Lake Orion Roofing right away. Christina took my information over the phone, and sent me instructions regarding how to send pictures of the damage to their staff. Over the weekend Mark, the owner, came to my house to see if he could find where the leak was coming from. After going up on the roof, Mark showed me pictures of 3 different areas that were likely allowing water in through the roof and then also showed me pictures of what he did to fix the problems. He gave me very helpful information regarding continued care for my roof, and how much longer he felt my roof could last before needing to be replaced. Mark saved me a ton of money, and unimaginable potential damage. I highly recommend this company for your roofing needs. They were experienced and knowledgeable.

I have had Lake Orion Roofing install roofs on my house and my parents house. Mark, the owner, was very good about answering my many questions and addressing concerns that I had. His quotes were very thorough and detailed. HIs crew did a good job and Mark reviewed the job with me afterwards and had many pictures detailing the installation. We had our roof replaced this summer by Lake Orion Roofing. Mark was out within a few days after I called for a roof inspection and quote (not an insurance claim - we paid out of pocket). Lake Orion Roofing just completed a roof replacement on our home. We are very happy with the completed job. Mark visited us during the bid process and he was clearly the most knowledgeable contractor. The roofing crew was top notch and did an incredible job with the challenges/repairs our roof presented. Impressive work. After shopping around and getting 4 separate quotes, I decided to go with Lake Orion Roofing, not because they were the cheapest quote, but because of the professionalism & reliability of reputation and their direct dealings with me. Mark Southern walked me through the quote, answering all my questions, but took care to educate me about the process and the roof in general. After signing the work order, everything was delivered within the week, and soon afterwards the work on the roof began. The roofers had to contend with what in some parts was nonexistent original wood during the teardown, and 5-8 inches of wet & heavy snow; but throughout the teardown & installation of the new roof they were communicative & professional. Simply put, they got the job done and done well. After the roof was complete, the guys involved in my gutter installation arrived 2 days later, and got the job done correctly within 3 hours with no fuss. Even after the job's completion, Mark still took time to go through the before & after photos to give me the information & tips I'll need to make sure the roof lasts.I was very happy with Lake Orion Roofing, and would recommend their services to friends & family.

This was the easiest home repair project I have ever had to schedule even though it was very involved. Mark was extremely helpful, kept me informed about timing and progress. He and his team were very professional. The quality of the work is excellent. I did a lot of research on roofing companies, and I am convinced that I picked the best.

Mark Southern, the owner of Lake Orion Roofing, is amongst the rare few contractors left that are trustworthy and cares about his customers, both current and previous. Due to the excellent experience that I had with him and his team when they redid my roof, I have kept his phone number handy. Naturally, when I had some maintenance work that needed to be done to my gutters (not installed by LOR), I called him to ask if this was something his company did. Unfortunately, it was not, so off I went searching for qualified contractors to perform the work.After a few weeks, Mark checked in with me to ensure I had gotten the work taken care of. Needless to say, the other contractor did not perform the work correctly and, after taking my money, was unwilling to make any adjustments and became non-responsive. I let Mark know what happened, showed him the pictures and the correspondence between myself and the other contractor, and he said he would help me out! …And he did; a week later, he stopped by my house to make the few modifications I had requested from the other contractor.I cannot express how grateful I am for him looking out for me as his prior customer. This was not his responsibility, yet he didn’t want his customer to be taken advantage of. This is just one example of the kindness Mark has shown since I have known him. I am so happy to have found Lake Orion Roofing and a team I can trust and rely on. I wholeheartedly recommend Mark and LOR if you are looking for a great company that will strive to treat you right!

If you are looking for a company with experience and a no nonsense evaluation/quote, I highly recommend contacting Mark Southern and his team. They put a new roof on our home 20-years ago and we have not had a single issue. Reached out to Mark last week to have him inspect our roof to get an evaluation of its condition and whether anything preventative needed to be done. Mark came out Saturday and said everything looked fine. He is not out to sell anything if it is not needed. Truly an ethical guy and it shows in the business.

Thank you Lake Orion Roofing! I had some storm damage that loosened some shingles and within 1 day of my call, they came out and did the repair. Lake Orion did the existing roof several years ago and it is in great shape, but straight line winds of 74 mph from a storm in September loosened some shingles. Great job and great service from this very dependable company!

Lake Orion Roofing did a great job replacing our roof. Mark the owner and his staff are friendly and easy to work with. The process was very easy with no pressure, excellent details of the process and many addresses for reference to check out examples of their work.All steps were performed when Mark said they would be. The tearoff and installation was done by his crew in less than a day with zero debris or nails left behind.They installed the same materials in the same manner with the same warranty as another well known roofer wanted to charge more than $2000 additional for!I highly recommend them.

After multiple quotes,we chose Lake Orion Roofing. Mark and John addressed many questions concerning the tear off ,venting and shingling of 2 roofs. Every step of the process was explained and documented. The installation was completed in 3.5 days followed by a thorough clean up. Planning to enjoy the quality and color of these shingles for many years.
